Hoffman still had more Hunger Games to Film

During our last episode this past Sunday, part of the discussion turned to the passing of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, and we wondered whether or not he’d had an opportunity to shoot the necessary scenes left to complete the two remaining films in the Hunger Games saga, Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2. Trek Tech Made Real

So by now we all know that Star Trek has a pretty interesting track record of predicting technology that has now become commonplace. Tablets, Cell Phones, Blue Tooth, Wifi etc. But as we barrel forward in our own technological development we continue to bring more Roddenberry’s Universe to life. This Video illustrates some of the additional tech we are either using or is about to become reality.

Make Ordinary Gloves Touchscreen Compatible

As a Canadian who loves his smartphone, I am well aware of the troubles of trying to use one in the midst of this year’s polar vortex. And sure gloves with touchscreen capability are already pretty cheap. But what makes this Kickstarter Product so fascinating to me is that it’s a solution that can be applied to any gloves for any purpose. Rather than having to buy special gloves for a number of different occasions this little product will make all my existing gloves touchscreen friendly.
