Fox has announced the return of COSMOS, a TV series that originally aired in 13 parts on PBS in 1980. Hosted by scientist and author Carl Sagan, the original used ground breaking special effects to teach the world about the wonders of the Universe. It remains one of the most widely watched PBS series of all time.

This time Neil deGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist and director of the Hayden planetarium, steps in for the late Sagan to take more updated look at our Universe, and it looks phenomenal. Tyson has become a figure on the internet and pop-culture, noted for his charisma and using common-speak to related more complex scientific ideas to the layman. He is probably best known from this meme which comes from a far more entertaining moment while speaking about Sir Isaac Newton:
